THE PRODUCTS
Specialized did its homework for their 2001 product line. We’ll have the complete catalog and specs online soon, but until then, you’ll just have to hear my personal opinions. Even on their price-point bikes, Specialized leaves nothing to be desired. Just about the whole line of complete bikes comes outfitted with Shimano freewheels, and on their higher priced bikes the Specialized three-piece cranks have been tested to not only be lighter than Profiles, but also 20 percent stronger!
