ROPES
We were told that anyone who was interested could challenge themselves on the “ropes” obstacle course. OK, whatever. Sounds cool. We start approaching the ropes and all I see are, well, ropes linked from one tree to another, forty feet in the air. Uh… hmm, do I really want to do this? I turn to Christophe who proclaims, “I am not doing this.”

Fifteen minutes later we’re all harnessed up and ready to walk off a cliff and balance ourselves with two cables to get to another tree. Everyone is successful. But that was the easy one. Then there are other things that I can’t really explain, but let’s just say they were hard. Furthermore, I need to mention that Darcy from Chase BMX magazine is like George of the Jungle. He was unstoppable and infallible up in the trees. Although I didn’t need the necessary safety harness, it did give me peace of mind, and may have hampered any future attempts for me to have offspring.
