NBL Big Bear & ABA Land O Lakes Nationals

Big Bear, the last NBL national before the NBL grands and Minnesota, Round 18 of the ABA National pro tour were held this past weekend. Riders were getting in there last chances at valuable points at the NBL race while the guys chasing after the ABA title were going at it once again. Here is how the Double A Marketing Pros in attendance did:

NBL

Christophe Leveque was unstoppable on Saturday. Christophe dominated the Pro class as he won both the AA Pro class and Pro Open. On Sunday, a crash in the first round of the pro main was the only way to stop Christophe from winning again. He placed 2nd for the day in AA Pro and 8th in Pro Open. Christophe sits 3rd in pro points going into the grands. Stumpfhauser had another great weekend. On Saturday Stumpy finished 2nd in AA Pro and 3rd in Pro Cruiser. On Sunday Randy was caught up in the crash with Leveque and wound up 7th overall in AA pro and 2nd in Pro Cruiser. Randy Currently sits 4th in the Pro class in points going into the grands. Jason Richardson was once again in all of the mains at this weekends national. Jason's best performance came on Saturday as he placed 4th in both AA Pro and Pro Open. On Sunday, he finished 6th in AA Pro and 7th in Open. Jason is going into the grands looking for a top ten national number. ABA

Greg Romero was riding really fast in Minnesota. Greg was looking to take the AA Pro win on Saturday, but a bail kept him to second. On Sunday Greg once again placed 2nd in AA Pro as well as an 8th in Pro Open. Greg currently leads the ABA Monstercross series. Robert MacPherson was doing Diamond Back proud this weekend. Robert took a big win in the Pro Open class on Saturday. On Sunday, Big Mac finished 3rd in Pro Open and 4th in AA Pro. Robert currently sits in 2nd place in AA pro points. Matt Hadan took time away from the diesel pump to take 4th in Pro Open on Saturday. On Sunday, the Master finished 2nd in both Pro cruiser and Pro open. Jason Donnell had another great weekend in Minnesota. Jason was in the AA Pro mains both days. A 3rd on Sunday was his best finish. Jamie Staff had an up and down weekend. On Saturday, Jamie felt sick all day but managed to stick it out and race. He made both the AA Pro main and Pro open and finished 5th and 3rd. On Sunday, Jamie was too sick to race, and spent the day in bed. Look for Jamie to be well by next weeks ABA race in Pennsylvania.
