NBL Rocky Mt. Nationals July 10-11, 1999

Round 15 of the NBL Pro BMX Tour was held this past weekend, just outside of Denver in Arvada, Colorado. With a torturing track and an experienced field of today's top BMX pro's, the NBL national had some exciting race action. Here is how the 3 Double A Marketing Pros in attendance did:

Christophe Leveque had a great weekend in Colorado. Christophe was the winner of AA Pro both days, as well as winning Pro Open on Saturday. On Sunday Christophe placed 4th in open. Christophe leaves for the World Championships this weekend, and looks forward to racing in his home country of France, as well as keeping his wining streak going. Randy Stumpfhauser was right on Christophe's Heels, as he placed 3rd and 2nd in the AA Pro class at the NBL Pro Nationals. Stumpy also dominated the Pro Cruiser class, as he won both days and showed how he earned his 1998 NBL Pro Cruiser title. Stumpy is in top form heading off to the UCI World Championships, in Vallet, France. Jason Richardson was in all of the Pro main events in Colorado. With his unique style, Jason moshed his way to 5th in AA Pro both days, along with 6th and 4th in Pro Open. The demolition man is headed off for the UCI World Cup race in Petit-Couronne, France this weekend, which will act as a UCI world ranking race, as well as a warm up for the BMX World Championships.
