ABA Quaker State Nationals August 7-8,1999

With the NBL Pro Series down to Just the Grands, all of the AA Pro is focusing on the ABA Pro tour. This past weekend in Clark Summit, PA, round 38 and 39 of the ABA Pro series were held. With only a few pros taking the weekend off resting up, the competition was fierce. Here is how the Double A Marketing Pros in attendance did:

Jamie Staff had rested up this week and it paid off. On Saturday, Jamie holeshotted the AA Main, and was out front until the finish. Mark Staff up for another AA win. Jamie also placed 4th and 6th in Pro open. Jamie currently sits #7 in the ABA Pro points, but is looking to move up further. Matt Hadan has been working hard and it is showing. Matt was in all of the Pro mains. On Saturday 7th in Pro open and 8th in AA Pro were results due to crashes, but on Sunday, Matt finished 2nd in AA Pro as well as 8th in Pro open. Matt has always been a strong rider in the end of the season, so look for some more great results from him soon. Randy Stumpfhauser was in all four of the pro main events in Pennsylvania. On Saturday, Randy pulled off a 4th in AA pro as well as a 2nd in Pro Cruiser. When Sunday rolled around, Stumpy took control of Pro Cruiser with a win and finished 5th in AA Pro. Jason Richardson spent some time while growing up near Clark Summit, so it was like going home for him. Jason didn't let his fans down with a 3rd in Pro open on Saturday and an 6th in AA Pro on Sunday. Jason has a week to rest up before his big summer bash at his house, including riding at his backyard trails. Robert MacPherson was in the AA Pro main both days as well in Clark Summit. On Saturday, Big Mac placed 7th and on Sunday 5th was his finish. Jason Donnell has been riding his Huffy bike into the Main event a lot lately. Jason was in the Pro Open mains both days in Clark Summit.
