MOSH NEWS:

In not so short and no so sweet fashion, here's what's been going on.

Media. MOSH team riders have been killing it lately amassing tons of coverage here and over in the Europe. The latest Ride UK (May 2000) features Mike Aitken on the Cover and in a 2-Page Spread, nice. Heath Pinter has a lovely full page as well, thanks Mark/Mark. For the latest stateside coverage, look no further than the latest Snap (July 2000) for a full page of Jerry Bagley on his soon to be released Pro Model. The yet to be released August BMX Plus Cover has Heath launching his body into a lake....OK Heath.

The team guys were in town recently to shoot with Keith Mulligan on ad/catalog stuff. Stretched no footed cans, bar-spin wall rides, and tailwhips all went down at Honda Hills, Temecula Skatepark and some secret spots in Cali. Before we knew it two days went by and the team had to break to shoot with their co-sponsors. Little Mikey did six photo shoots in 5 days before racking up a G on Heath's odometer. Look for Mikey's poster in the September issue of Ride.

Check for the crew to be featured soon in these pubs:

Bikes. If you have seen the guys riding or even if you have checked any of the new ads you may have seen team riders on 2001 prototypes. After his down and out Jan and Feb, Bagley healed up quick to test his Pro Model samples. If you see Jerry or Mikey be sure to check their rides, they're 2001freshness. Full 4130, Bagley designed replicas.

Mike Ardelean can currently be seen riding the new 2001 Brass 4 Star Model without corn-rows. The Ardelean designed street bike is made of pure gold for more bling bling. He says the frame has more pop but we are unsure of what he means. The Brass series of bikes rule. Check our ad in the Sept. Ride for a closer look.

If you look closely you might be able to spot the Method 4 Star Model that Heath is riding. Our new chromoly trail/racer is clean, simple and straight forward. Full 4130, built light and strong.

More info on the 2001 bikes will be made available closer to our launch this summer.

Parts. With the help of the crew, we worked hard to bring forth quality American made after market parts. That didn't happen so here's what we have available instead. Just joking...

Now available and made in America!

Shadow Stem; 55mm, CNC'D, 4M logo, etc..
Shadow Seat; 8mm rails with brace. Comes black as night only.
Shadow Chainrings; New Style with new logos. ¼" keeps it real.
Circle M Padsets; Post modern for your BMX racer.
T-Shirts; It's the new style! 4 new designs that rule.

Coming soon....gloves, pegs, posts, bars and more gears for people who like 36T gears.

Other misc news. (it's Friday before the Memorial Day Weekend and I want to go home to watch the Lakers) The semi-updated web-site now features the new team riders (Mike, Mike and Heath), new photos for the gallery, updated parts info and MSRP's for the bikes. Expect a complete site overhaul when we launch 2001 bikes.

MOSH had big plans to hook up with DEN.net for sponsorship and promotions but they went under, oh well.

The not-so-hyped MOSH video keeps plugging along. The team will be filming in and around the Pittsburgh area the first week in June. If you are near check them out.

Ardelean Gets the Nod for Best Newcomer Nominee

MOSH's very own Mike Ardelean has been nominated for Best Newcomer (BMX) at the 1st Annual Nea Awards presented by Siemens Mobile Phones. The Nea Awards mark the first ever World Xtreme Sports Awards. Categories include Skateboarding, Surfing, Snowboarding, Mountain Biking and Motocross. Voting for the awards is done strictly online and winners will be revealed August 8th during the Nea Award Show in Munich, Germany. Special guests at the show include Dennis Rodman.

Mike Ardelean.

As the newest rider to join the MOSH team, Mike Ardelean comes to MOSH with a proven track record that speaks volumes about position among the world's foremost street technicians. Making his name by way of the street riding discipline, the soft spoken Cali transplant kills common day street amenities with the technical certainty and accuracy of a brain surgeon.

At the age of 21 Mike Ardelean has already had a celebrated career. The former DK, Huffy/Pepsi One rider is a three time X-Games finalist and is sure to add the 2000 games as another notch to his belt. Contests aside, one thing you have to realize about Mike is that his bread isn't buttered through the rigors of the contest circuit. Not unlike many of today's top skateboarders, Mr. Ardelean considers himself somewhat of an artist, street artist if you will. Everyday public street amenities are his canvas and his MOSH bike his brush.

Look for Mike leaving his mark on stairs, schools and parks in a neighborhood near you. But if that's not soon enough, check any BMX magazine because you are sure to see him plastered throughout or in his latest effort, the wildly popular BMX video Nowhere Fast where he is a featured rider.
