ABA PUMPS BMX RACING WITH EX TV ON FOX SPORTS NET

GILBERT, Arizona --(2/25/02) - As of April 1st, 2002, ABA BMX Racing will be back on a major sports cable network on a regular basis. The American Bicycle Association (ABA) recently signed an agreement with Extreme Group, the worldıs leading media company in the extreme sports sector and parent company of the Extreme Sports Channel, to air "Pump" as part of "EX TV" on FOX Sports Net (FSN). The first episode of "Pump" featuring the "ABA Sooner Nationals" from Guthrie, Oklahoma will air Monday, April 1st at 4:30 PM on FOX Sports Net. "Pump" continues a week later on April 8th and then every other week until September 9th. Each episode of "Pump" will also air on Extreme Sports Channel International in 49 countries.

"It's exciting to be able to put BMX racing back on TV." commented Bernard Anderson, Vice-President of Marketing and Promotions for the ABA. "The added exposure will do nothing but help teams, pros and the ABA National Series in the acquisition of new sponsors and continuing the already tremendous growth of the sport." Anderson added.

The 13 original episodes will be produced by Satellite Sports Group, LLC in conjunction with The Eclectic Group out of Ontario, CA. Don Hoffman will be the director and producer of this new series. Mr. Hoffman has over 100 episodes of BMX programming to his credit including "Crank TV" (FSN & Outdoor Life Network),"BMXtreme Series"(FSN), "INVERT TV"(FSN), and the original nine episodes of "Pump" that aired on FSN in 2000. Each 30-minute program will feature an ABA event (racing and dirt jumping) along with pro rider bios, BMX product reviews, and special features. Check your local listings for exact times.

Other ABA events covered will be the ABA Winter Nationals- April 5-7, 2002 (Phoenix, AZ), The Super Nationals-May 10-12, 2002 (Desoto, TX), The Great Salt Lake Nationals-June 14-16, 2002 (Salt Lake City, UT), and the ABA World Championships-July 26-28 (Ontario, CA). The ABA has the option to produce and air additional episodes of "Pump TV" from other ABA Nationals for airings beyond their original September 9th conclusion.
