CORE TOUR HITS VENICE BEACH

The Panasonic Shockwave Core Tour presented by Jockey event was a huge success. The event took place this past weekend in Venice Beach and could not have gone any better. The weather was perfect and the world's best core sport athletes were out in force competing for over $50,000 in cash and prizes, set to the tunes of some great bands.

Some of the highlights include:

Bike- Ryan Nyquist blowing up huge in the finals and walking a way with the overall win. Cory Nastazio and Steven Murray both pulling double backflips. Ronny Chalk edging out Steven Murray in the Big Air Challenge at an incredible 16' 10".

Scooter- Jarret Reid going big in the Big Air Challenge at 11'0" and then stepping up to the top of the Big Kicker and pulling a flawless front flip on his Razor! Scott McCormack ripping up the street course with no abandon.

Skate- 11 year old Ryan Sheckler busting out huge over the gap on the Big Kicker and the crowd going wild. That kid rips!

In-Line- Carlos Pianowski pulling a back to back 900's over the almost 30' gap. BJ Campbell break dancing on the landing of the Big Kicker. All-Terrain boards- Jason Lee going big and then busting a wheel off that flew into the barricade fencing. It looked something from a NASCAR race.

E-wear music stage - Hip Hop artists Blood of Abraham rockin the crowd with some smooth beats and tight lyrics. The crowd was definitely getting it's bounce on!
