. . . Go Back to Press Releases (06.26.01) The ABA held round 14 of their 2001 Pro series this past weekend in legendary Rockford, IL. A ton of BMX riders came out for one of the ABA's finest race tracks. Rockford is all about power, as its a long track will really tire you out. Only the fittest riders can win here, and once again it was one of the Double A Marketing pros taking 3 out of 4 pro wins (AA and Open) for the weekend. Here is how all the Double A Marketing riders finished up in the mains. Christophe Leveque, right now, right at this moment is the rider in the ABA. In his last 9 AA races in the ABA, he has won 6 of them! As if winning AA pro on Saturday and a 3rd on Sunday wasn't enough, C-Dog won Pro Open both days. In fact, he only lost one lap all weekend, and it was in the last main where he crashed, keeping him back to 3rd on Sunday. WOW! Matt Hadan hasn't let the fact that he is a new dad, missing a lot of sleep, show in his racing one bit, as the Master was in 4 pro mains this weekend. In Pro Cruiser on Saturday, Matt placed 2nd and in Pro Open he finished up 4th. On Sunday, Matt was in the AA main, placing 6th overall and 4th in Pro Cruiser too. That's one fast Dad! Then on Sunday morning, Robert pulled a muscle in his back to almost make it impossible for him to race, but somehow still made Pro Open and placed 7th overall. With a week of rest, look for big Mac to be atop the podium once again!
