ABA First State Nationals
Milford, Delaware July 7-8

The ABA pro tour rolled through Milford, Delaware this past weekend. With a great turnout, and awesome track, and great racing, the ABA once again held a successful event on the East coast. Here is how the Double A Marketing Pros finished up in the main events:

Jason Donnell had his best race of the 2001 season, with 3 out of 4 main event appearances. On Saturday, Jason raced awesome and placed 2nd in AA pro and a 4th in Pro Open. On Sunday, Jason was in the Pro Open main and once again finished 2nd overall. Look for Jason to continue with great results for the rest of the season. Grant White wins the iron man award in Delaware, as he was in all 5 pro main events he entered. On Saturday, Grant placed 7th in AA pro and 4th in Pro Cruiser. On Sunday, Grant went out and raced all 3 pro classes and placed 2nd in Pro Cruiser, 5th in Pro Open, and 6th in AA pro. That's a lot of racing. Robert MacPherson was ready for some great racing action in Delaware, but a broken pedal kept him out of the main events on Saturday. On Sunday, it was a different story, as Big Mac was in the AA main and placed 2nd overall. Darrin Mitchell made his return to racing after an injury had kept him away for a few months. Well, Darrin did great for his first race back, with 6th place in Pro Open on Saturday. Then on Sunday, Darrin was in the AA pro main where he placed 7th overall and 6th in Pro Open.
