The ABA held stop # 18 of the 2001 ABA Pro Race schedule this past weekend, in Brainerd, Minnesota. With a new tack and location, it made for some great racing action. With only the ABA races going on now for the rest of the season, with the exception of the X-games next week, and the NBL Grands the first week of September, the ABA events are going to full of all the top pros in BMX from here on out. Here is how the Double A Marketing pros finished up in the main events: Christophe Leveque kept his wining ways going on this past weekend with yet another win in AA pro on Saturday and a Pro Open win on Sunday. Along with a 3rd in Pro Open on Saturday and a 5th in AA on Sunday, it was yet again another great weekend for Leveque. Christophe currently sits in #2 in the ABA Pro Points standings. Christophe's sponsors include Specialized, Mountain Dew, Fox Racing, Sinister/Marzocchi Steering Systems, Vans, Sun Ringle, ATI, Smith Eye wear, Marwi Spokes, BMXpros.com, Revenge, Champion Nutrition, Head Lock, Troy Lee Designs, and Specialized Leveque Tires. Matt Hadan always turns it up a notch during late summer, and he was up to par once again in Minnesota. Matt was in 3 out of 4 pro main events, placing 3rd in AA and 4th in Open on Saturday, and 4th in AA on Sunday. Look for the master to jump up in the ABA points race come year end. Grant White continues towards wining the ABA pro Cruiser tittle with some great results. On Saturday, Grant finished 3rd in Pro Cruiser. On Sunday, it was one spot better with a 2nd. Grant currently site in #2 in the Pro Cruiser title chase.
