. . . Go Back to Press Releases (10.12.01)
The ABA East Coast Nationals will go down in history. On Saturday, rain fell down for most of the day, and the ABA postponed the start of the race until the rain ended, as the race conditions were "unsafe". All of the pros in attendance grouped up together and talked about the unsafe conditions and other issues in the pro class. But once the rain ended, and the track was uncovered, the track proved to be safe enough to race by some and others wanted to make a stand and have the ABA listen to the pros collective ideas and suggestions. The ABA decided to run the race with or without the Pros, as only some of the Pros decided to race on Saturday. Was it a good or bad idea? Will the ABA ever listen to the Pros? You can read more at BMXmania.com and make up your mind. Here is how the Double A Marketing Pros in attendance finished up. Christophe Leveque is back. On Sunday, the only day he raced, Christophe took control of AA pro and took home a huge win.
