DAVE MIRRA FREESTYLE BMX COMES TO Z-AXIS AND XBOX

Where one Dave Mirra game ends, another begins. Since the successful PlayStation 2 version of Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 shipped, the development team at Z-Axis have been getting the GameCube and Xbox versions ready to go. These games have some exciting new features that aren't in the PlayStation 2 version, most notably of which are two new levels: Greenville and Venice.

Greenville, NC, in the real world, is a town where pros like Dave Mirra, Ryan Nyquist and Mike Laird, among other pro riders, all live. Since they_ve moved there, the town has been dubbed "Protown, USA." The town of Greenville also houses East Carolina University. All in all, Greenville is a regular town and in the game, this regular town is transformed into a BMXer's playground.

In the GameCube and Xbox versions of Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 you'll be able to ride through the BMX park, a university's campus, and even backyards and pools. Of course there is always the back-alley section, where you can table top over barbed wire and plow through broken down fences in the darker side of Greenville.

While Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 has the entire former game's Woodward Camp combined into a massive level, the new Greenville doesn't mirror the first game's Greenville very much at all. The new Greenville is very similar to the real-life one with one exception: there is no one to stop you from grinding every car or wall-tapping all of the windows out of the university's classrooms. Our Greenville is also packed with a considerable amount of vert ramps, street courses and dirt runs that you won't find in the real city. The bottom line is that it's an amazing course to play through with a never-ending array of things to do. You'll never get tired of riding this level.

Next Week: Venice, Italy Level
