Tektro Brake Systems, Taiwan's number one quality brake manufacturer is once again leading the way in BMX sponsorship with the continuation of their contingency sponsorship program aimed at all NBL and ABA racers.

For the last two years Tektro has run a contingency program at NBL and ABA BMX races. This year Tektro will continue this great program by again giving away a potential of up to $100,000 to riders of all classes. From 5 and under rookies to 50 and over cruiser using Tektro products are all eligible to sign up. That is over 80 classes in the NBL, and the ABA.

Tektro feels that this program that sponsors amateur riders as well as the pros, is an excellent way of putting money back into the sport at a grassroots level - the young and the old, male and female riders all have the chance to win cash.

This year's Tektro Contingency races will be:

ABA Races
Dixieland
Fall Nationals
Grands

NBL Races
Gator National
Primm BMX Classic
Heartland National
Stars 'n Stripes
Grands

Prize money is $30 for 1st place, $20 for 2nd, and $10 for 3rd place in all classes except the ABA's AA Pro and the NBL's Pro class. The prize money for these pro classes is $150 for 1st, $100 for 2nd and $50 for 3rd.

To be eligible riders must be using Tektro brakes and levers. Riders should complete a contingency form available at the Tektro tent on the day of their race.
